I’m the person behind the lens at Amelia Ellis Photography, and if we work together, I won’t just be taking your photos — I’ll be paying close attention to the little things, helping you feel comfortable, and documenting your story with care and intention.

I’ve always been drawn to visual creativity. I started this business in 2019, but long before that, I was painting, sketching, and finding beauty in the quiet, everyday details. That same creative eye is what shapes how I photograph — focusing on real moments, honest connection, and imagery that feels timeless.

I was born and raised in Grey County and, over the years, have lived in Mississauga and Peterborough before moving back to Chatsworth. There’s something grounding about being surrounded by the landscapes and rhythms that feel like home.

On my days off, you’ll usually find me somewhere near the beach with a glass of sparkling wine and a good book, or baking sourdough and soaking in the slower pace. I’m a beach lover, a big fan of countryside stillness, and I’ve traveled to over 42 countries — which has given me a deep appreciation for different people, places, and ways of seeing the world.

I’m easygoing, observant, and genuinely care about making sure you feel like yourself in front of the camera. Whether I’m capturing a celebration, a quiet moment at home, or just a season of life you want to hold onto — I show up with a calm presence, an artistic eye, and a genuine love for what I do.
